Purpose of Role

For temporary backfill of our teammate who is currently absent for longer period of time, we are looking for a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist who is able to effectively manage the Accounts Receivable portfolio for the BENELUX area and ensure that all customer payments are received in line with agreed payment terms. The right candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills, a can-do attitude and a passion for the UA brand.
This role will be based in Amsterdam, reporting directly to the Manager Accounts Receivable and will have an average duration of 12 months.

Your Impact

  • Manage the general ageing of the Accounts Receivable portfolio for the wholesale accounts in the Benelux area and achieve overall corporate targets.
  • Frequent telephone and email communication with customers as part of the general cash collections process.
  • Ensuring proper maintaining of the customer master database, especially managing the addresses, VAT ID numbers, contact persons and their email addresses and Direct Debit data,
  • Work closely with the claims and dispute department enabling them to resolve any occurring dispute or claim.
  • Support the cash application specialist by obtaining customer payment information in a timely manner.
  • We reserve the rights to allocate customers from other areas.
  • Other financial and administrative support duties deemed necessary.

Qualifications

  • 1-2-year post-education experience, preferably in an Accounts Receivable position.
  • College level education.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English languages.
  • Experience in SAP preferred.
  • Knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong numerical skills, high attention to detail.

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.
  • Return to Work Designation: Hybrid work (baseline of minimum 2 days a week in-office.
  • Travel: IE- 5-10% of the year
