Accounting Support Ticketing Finance Freelancer External

THE POSITION

These are your key tasks:

• Support Ticketing Finance in acting as a business partner to the Commercial Ticketing team by providing assistance on finance-related matters.
• Monitor high-volume ticket sales and ensure correct and timely revenue recognition in the accounting system.
• Manage customer enquiries, including processing refunds and handling chargebacks.
• Assist with bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, and maintenance of accurate and organized financial documentation.
• Perform data validation checks and ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.  
• Assist with ad‑hoc financial tasks, analysis, or projects as required by the Ticketing Finance team.
  Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of reconciliations, schedules and reporting for FIFA Ticketing subsidiaries.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:

• Prior experience in accounting, finance operations or support
• Proficient in Excel/ Word / PowerPoint. 
• Experience using SAP FI is an asset.
• Degree in accounting or controlling
• Good understanding and knowledge of accounting and controlling principles.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Responsible personality with high self-initiative.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Positive and dynamic Team Player.
• Willingness to cope with flexible working hours during sales phases
