Are you the hands-on finance enthusiast we are seeking for? We are excited to offer this role to a process and numbers’ driven team player who support our APAC finance and JP finance topics. With your proven technical finance skills, your experience in different areas of local accounting and tax, and your high IT affinity, you will contribute to today’s local compliance and shape tomorrow’s processes. Your Mission
- Account for GL, FA and statutory tasks in coordination with APAC finance and local external consultants (mainly accounting, tax and legal)
- Independently and accurately process our daily business tasks within general ledger (including FA)
- Be responsible for the local layer accounting booking and support local tax fillings as requested
- Actively challenge, adapt and automate our global and local processes
- Perform internal controls, streamline Japan cross-functional processes and ensure up-to-date process documentation
- Collaborate with APAC AR team and support and structure the AR process and complete some hands-on AR tasks on the interim basis
- Contribute to exciting ad hoc tasks
Your story
- Willingness to take ownership of multiple financial topics at a time and having the ability to adapt to a continually changing environment and new ways of working.
- Ability to consider both the details of the daily business as well as the big picture within project work related to finance and operations
- Motivation to be part of building up state-of-the-art finance/accounting function
- IFRS knowledge and/or experience with D365 desirable
- Proven analytical, conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills
- Passion for sports, fitness and/or running
- Fluent in Japanese, with strong business level of English language skill
- Multiple APAC cultures exposed

The Case Study
What's your style? This task will help us understand how you think, face a challenge and give insight into your novel ideas. Designed to give everyone their best shot, your case study is based on something you might typically experience on the job. This is your chance to show us what you’ve got. So express yourself. Step Five
The Experience Day
Your first taste of the Oniverse. This is a time to meet some of the people you'll be working closest with. In person or virtually, you'll get a feel for the day-to-day at On and the people who make it happen. You'll chat with a few potential teammates - the conversations will be as equally driven by the role and your experience as by our values. We believe how you do things is just as important as what you do.

The Result
