Full Description
THE ROLE:
As an Accountant Analyst, you’ll support month-end close and accounting standardization across our US and regional entities. You’ll prepare journals and reconciliations, analyze P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, and partner closely with FP&A, Operations, Facilities, and audit and compliance stakeholders. This role is a great fit if you enjoy working in a multinational, NYSE-listed environment, operating in both English and Spanish, and learning global finance platforms like Workday.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Core Accounting and Close: Experience preparing journal entries, supporting month-end processes, and maintaining accurate ledgers.
- Reconciliations and Controls: Proven ability to produce timely, high-quality balance sheet reconciliations and support certification and controls.
- Financial Analysis: Proven experience in analyzing P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow to explain variances and align with company guidelines.
- Compliance: Hands-on exposure to payroll, taxes, audit and compliance within a multi-entity setup.
- Systems Proficiency: Comfortable with ERP accounting systems (Workday a plus; Oracle and SAP helpful) and strong Excel and Office skills.
- Stakeholder Communication: Clear, professional communication with finance and non-finance partners; strong relationship-building locally and abroad.
- Bilingual Execution: English (B2+) and Spanish for effective reporting and collaboration across the Americas
IT WILL BE A BONUS IF YOU KNOW:
- Process Improvement: Track record standardizing close processes or automating reconciliations and treasury workflows.
- US GAAP and local tax nuances: Familiarity supporting audits and filings across US and LATAM jurisdictions
- Brazilian Tax Regulations: Exposure to or experience supporting Brazilian tax processes and compliance requirements.
We enjoy an ‘office-first’ culture and maximize opportunities to collaborate, connect and learn together. Our hybrid working models differ depending on your role and location.
