The Role
We are looking for anAcademy Driver on a casual basisto provide travel support to our Academy players and staff.
We are committed to supporting the growth and development of our Academy players and staff by providing safe, reliable, and professional travel services. Our Academy plays a key role in nurturing talent and ensuring everyone can focus on their performance and duties.
Who we are
Your day-to-day
- Provide regular player transport - you'll carry out minibus journeys as required to ensure safe and prompt travel for our players
- Support the wider Academy operation - you'll work alongside our Kit team to help with occasional transport of training/match kit and equipment
- Handle ad-hoc travel - you will host minibus travel services for staff as and when required
- Uphold our high standards - you will take responsibility for ensuring our Academy travel equipment is efficiently managed and looked after
- Build positive working relationships- you'll engage and collaborate with players, parents/guardians and our wider team
Please note: You'll be based at Sobha Realty Training Centre and this role will include evening and weekend work.
What we are looking for
- Clean UK driving licence - you'll be able to transport yourself to various different locations
- Experience in a similar role - you are confident with driving in Greater London and surrounding areas
- Safeguarding champion - you have the completed the FA Safeguarding accreditation (or willing to undertake)
- Trusted ambassador for our club - you recognise your responsibility as a representative of our club and maintain exceptional standards of professional behaviour towards colleagues, players and the wider public
- Proud team player - you're able to display the integrity and discretion that's needed to be a trusted team player
