Surrey County Cricket Club, based in the heart of London, was formed in 1845 and is one of the most iconic Sports Clubs in the United Kingdom. The vast majority of Surrey home matches are played at the Kia Oval cricket grounds which has also staged International cricket since 1882. Since then, every great cricketer in the World has played in the shadow of the famous gas-holders which overlook the grounds.
